LIKE most citizens, I was bobbing up and down with irritation when I read about the Euro-threat to our mince. Mince is the mainstay of Scottish culture.
As babies, we were fed it in bottles. In winter, it was our breakfast, lunch and dinner while, in summer, we would often have mince salad or just cold mince with a cherry on the top.
