Just three calls to Leith police on prostitutes

POLICE in Leith received only three complaints about prostitution in the area throughout July.
Officers welcomed the figure in an end of summer report, released yesterday.

Three householders made calls to police regarding street sex workers – one more call in comparison to June's figures.

Pc Lee Jack said: "It was a good month again."

He stressed he would continue to monitor calls on a daily basis to ensure they do not start to "creep up".
