LOTHIANS Labour MSP George Foulkes has praised the Army for its promotion of gay rights.
His motion, tabled in the Scottish Parliament, praises the Army on becoming the 400th Stonewall Diversity Champion, and calls it “a remarkable achievement” given that less than ten years ago lesbians and gays were banned from the Army.
