FORMER Prime Minister Tony Blair wants a "global environment revolution".
He is in Tokyo for talks with business and political figures on a Breaking The Climate Deadlock tour to Japan, China and India. It aims to persuade China and the US to slash carbon emissions by half.

"We have reached the critical moment of decision on climate change," he said.

What a hypocrite, him endlessly jetting around the globe flogging his soon to be published memoirs on how he done it and making millions on the international lecture circuit. why can't he just go quietly into the night and finally leave us alone, no one will ever believe a word this man says.

Global Warming Censored
How the Major Networks Silence the Debate on Climate Change

Julia A. Seymour and Dan Gainor
Business & Media Institute
Saturday, March 15, 2008

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Global warming crusader Al Gore repeatedly claims the climate change “debate’s over.” It isn’t, but the news media clearly agree with him. Global warming skeptics rarely get any say on the networks, and when their opinions are mentioned it is often with barbs like “cynics” or “deniers” thrown in to undermine them.

Consistently viewers are being sent only one message from ABC, CBS and NBC: global warming is an environmental catastrophe and it’s mankind’s fault. Skepticism is all but shut out of reports through several tactics – omission, name-calling, the hype of frightening images like polar bears scavenging for food near towns and a barrage of terrifying predictions.

The Business & Media Institute analyzed 205 network news stories about “global warming” or “climate change” between July 1, 2007, and Dec. 31, 2007. BMI found a meager 20 percent of stories even mentioned there were any alternative opinions to the so-called “consensus” on the issue.

(Article continues below)

? Disagreement Squashed: Global warming proponents overwhelmingly outnumbered those with dissenting opinions. On average for every skeptic there were nearly 13 proponents featured. ABC did a slightly better job with a 7-to-1 ratio, while CBS’s ratio was abysmal at nearly 38-to-1.
? Can I See Some ID?: Scientists made up only 15 percent of the global warming proponents shown. The remaining 85 percent included politicians, celebrities, other journalists and even ordinary men and women. There were more unidentified interview subjects used to support climate change hype than actual scientists (101 unidentified to just 71 scientists)

? What’s It Going to Cost?: All “solutions” have a price, but the cost of fighting global

#1 Paddi.
Think positive.

If the odious little sh*t Blair is over there then he can't be here. Even better if his hag-faced wife is with him. ;-)

What was the global temperature like during the 500 years that the Vikings were farming in Greenland ?
Must have been pretty tough on the polar bears without the sea ice but they survived.

His solution to save the planet involves selling as many nuclear power stations as possible. and get generous cash rewards.

Would it not be better if Tony concentrated on one thing at a time? Wasn't he supposed to be bringing peace to the middle-East? There never was a problem with global warming, the technologies to avoid it have been there for years but multi-nationals want their investments on old technology to pay back over the next twenty years, the chairman of Shell is on record as saying this last June, he even proudly maintains this comment on the Shell website under the chairman's thoughts section(for insiders only you understand). They want to rob people on and on and on and on when far cheaper technologies are available because those technolgies are too cheap to control, too cheap for their shareholders to get "their cut" from, and the CEOs etc themselves to make money out of and who are we to complain so long as the rich get richer and the planet falls apart around us, .... and them. That's the great thing about "globalisation", there really will be no nice places to run away to soon enough, all your millions can'tbuy you a sunny day with clean air and beautiful forests but those new, cheap, financially uncontrollable technologies can. But then they'd be just like you, scum, and it is THAT they really can't stand, the truth.

Anybody less qualified to save the planet than Bliar would be hard to imagine.

He has spent zillions of dollars murdering people and destroying countries, and is still on the make along with his grasping wife.

The planet needs saving from him and it distresses me to think I have to share it with him.

Whatever happened to the Middle East peace envoy job? I'll tell you, down the plug hole with everything else this useless piece of flesh ever devised or thought up.

I always thought Edward Heath was the worst Prime Minister the country ever had, but now I am convinced Blair now holds that ignominious title.

A substantial proportion of observed global warming can be attributed to variations in the output of our star. One IPPC - loyal study suggests the solar hypothesis explains 57% of temperature variations, while other studies suggest a figure of 40%.

If Tony Blair, Al Gore and their fellow travellers could arrange to regulate this source of planerary warming, then we'd be cooking with gas.

As a Canadian, I'm all for global warming , and I suspect many Scotsmen are too - particularly the Highlanders.

dont worry folks. as soon as i become prime minister i will have Tony Blair put under close arrest and sentance him to peel spuds for the rest of his life, although that might be a little overqualified for that angel of death........ We are all bad in some small way or another, thats why we were `dropped` off here on this planet, the `good` people, they couldnt put up with our mean, selfish and greedy ways and decided that we would be better off on a planet of our own which was slowly breaking up and disintergrating. doesnt matter what we do, it,s going to fragmentize in a short while anyway.
just have fun until that day arrives. But, i still think mister Blair should pay for his crimes to humanity, he,s not making it any easier for us is he,he,he!!!.

With this 'First Man Of Britain' on the job, the only thing that we can be sure of, is that, in the next 2 months we will all fry to death!
The problems of our country can all be traced back to this idiot who has, and is, living in a 'fools paradise'

CO2 can be removed from the air and made into fuel biologically. Also, there is a very very cheap way to cool down the Earth by dimming the sun with aerosol in the upper atmosphere. Expensive emission cuts are ridiculous when the CO2 in the air can be made into fuel at a profit, and we can cool ourselves down for cheap anyway. www.myspace.com/dobermanmacleod
