Music legend Phil Spector has denied murdering actress Lana Clarkson in an interview with the BBC.
Spector, 64, has been charged with shooting Clarkson after picking her up at a Los Angeles nightclub. He is set to go on trial in the US in September.

Clarkson, 40, was found dead, shot in the mouth, in the hallway of Spector’s hilltop mansion in February 2003.

The "Wall of Sound" producer told The Secret Map of Hollywood: "

It’s not for me to explain why she took her life. It’s only for me to explain I had nothing to do with it and I didn’t."
