Cheney visits quake-hit Kashmir

US Vice-President Dick Cheney arrived in Pakistan today on a one-day visit that is expected to include a tour of quake-hit areas in Kashmir.
Shortly after his arrival at an air base near Islamabad, Mr Cheney was to meet with the country's president, General Pervez Musharraf, said foreign ministry spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam.
