I was offered a free trial with a "life coach" at the weekend. I didn't know I needed one. I didn't even know they existed. At what point in your life do you decide to take on a job and demand payment for telling other people how to run their lives?
So the man on the phone asked me a few pertinent questions like:

Do you have days when you are going round in circles and achieving nothing?

Would you like more clarity and direction in your life?

Do you feel lost and confused and facin...

Life Coaching is merely another ruse to seperate stupid people from their money. Big in america and gladly not here. Fake chirpiness and polianna thinking are not required here thanks!

The fact their using direct marketing to push it just makes it more laughable!

I am sorry you have had this experience of a Life Coach.

Life Coaching is about taking you from where you are now to where you want to be. Giving you the tools to achieve your Goals and aspirations. Life Coaches do not tell you how to run your life.

There are many different areas to Life coaching unlike friends, who can indeed offer invaluable help and a good shoulder to cry on, Life coaches
offer an unbiased view. They are trained in listening skills.

People from all walks of Life are turning to Life coaches. Each Life coach will specialize in a different area and you should do your research to find the Life coach for you. Sorry you had such a negative experience.
