O J SIMPSON, the former American football star, was ordered back to jail last night charged with violating bail terms set for his armed robbery trial.
Prosecutors asked a Las Vegas judge to revoke the 60-year-old bail's for trying to contact a co-defendant in the case. He will be held in custody in Nevada until a hearing next week.

Simpson and two co-defendants, Clarence "CJ" Stewart and Charles Ehrlich, face trial in April on a dozen charges of kidnapping and armed robbery.

If convicted, they could face life in prison.
