THREE Japanese snow monkeys introduced to a wildlife park have died.
The monkeys were sent to the Highland Wildlife Park, near Aviemore, as a major tourist attraction.

The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) said a male from one troupe was killed by the dominant male from another in February. A second animal had to be put down and a third one drowned. Campaigning group Advocates for Animals said the incidents highlighted why it was inappropriate to keep wild animals in captive conditions.

More monkeys have since been introduced to the park.

The SSPCA said one its senior officers had visited the park after the deaths and it was satisfied with the new animals' welfare.

This is a tragedy as The Snow Monkeys were Gordon Browns favourite band what he listens to on his U pod before he phones people up at 6AM to ask them what they think of him.As if the poor man isn't going through enough right now !
Anyway, withthis bi election comming up in Glasgow he cannow claim to be a big fan of Lulu instead.
