I can't believe it.
I actually agree with a Lib Dem - on AC/DC that is.
Angus Young is probably the greatest rock guitarist Scotland has produced - definitely the best Kirriemuir has produced!
His live act is legendary.
BTW
If our Angus had been a Weegie you have heard a lot more about him.

I reckon that some of The Doors stuff would be more appropriate nowadays:-
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes, again
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need
Of some stranger's hand
In a desperate land.
Some of Jim's poetry is pretty relavent too:-

Those other musicians today who don't do drugs, and in fact speak out against them, boy do they suck. What a coincidence...

A SONG FOR WENDY ME THINKS:
My Big Mouth
But no one’s saying nothing
Is the sound so very loud
That no one can hear?
I’ve got something in my shoes
That’s keeping me from walking
Down the long and winding road
Back home to you
A rolling stone cease to be
And swear she’s never sleeping with the enemy
Where angels fly
You won’t play
So guess who’s gonna take the blame
For my big mouth
And my big name
Who’ll put on my shoes while I’m walking
Slowly down the hall of fame?
Into my big mouth
You can fly a plane
Who’ll put on my shoes while I’m walking
Slowly down the hall of fame?
I ain’t never spoke to god
And I have never been to heaven
I’ve seen machine gunnings away
Even though the man was given
And as you look into the eye
Of a bloody cold assassin
Only then you’ll realize
This is what you call redemption
When all your songs cease to be
That’s what you get for sleeping with the enemy
Where angels fly
You won’t play
So guess who’s gonna take the blame
For my big mouth
And my big name
Who’ll put on my shoes while I’m walking
Slowly down the hall of fame?
Into my big mouth
You can fly a plane
Who’ll put on my shoes while I’m walking
Slowly down the hall of fame?
Slowly down the hall of fame?
Slowly down the hall of fame?
When all your songs cease to be
That’s what you get for sleeping with the enemy
Where angels fly

Brilliant, but pay attention for your own reward.
A wee schemie lass from Grangemouth became Jeffs lover after singing her own version of 'Song to the Siren'.
The Cocteau Twins version of that Tim Buckleys song is by far the most known, partly thanks to independent US movies like 'Lost Highway'.
Then she went on to become Jeff Buckleys lover.
Then they recorded a far better song - and this is your treat for reading my post.
"All the Flowers in Time Bend Towards the Sun". It is identical to "Song for the Siren", but happier and more hopeful.
