Chamber hits tenth birthday
A TENTH birthday celebration has taken place for Midlothian Chamber of Commerce.
Former chairmen of the organisation attended the bash at Dalhousie Castle, which was the first business to join when the chamber was formed in 1998.
Since being set up, the organisation has held some 600 events and members have traded an estimated £8.5 million worth of goods and services with one another.
The chamber's Gregor Murray said: "The chamber helps businesses succeed, become part of a national and international network, and gives them a stronger voice with decision makers."
