The city's American football team is to kick off their 2008 campaign as they play a pre-season friendly match tomorrow.
The Edinburgh Wolves will play a warm-up game against Division One side Kent Exiles tomorrow at the Jack Kane Centre.

The Wolves, who usually play a local or university side in the lead-up to the start of the season, have this year set their standards higher by inviting the upper-division Exiles to Edinburgh.

Kick-off is 1pm. Admission is free.

The Wolves open their season on April 27 at Glasgow, but the Capital side will play five home games at Meadowbank this summer.

Really is this how we're going to start this thread. Some halfwit's uneducated and mindnumbingly stupid comment on the fact that they use pads. Even with the pads getting tackled in this sport can hurt. I know I've played and got the scars on my arm where they had to pin my wrist together to prove it! Why comment if you have nothing constructive to share.

Good luck this season Wolves. It's time the Wolves stepped up and won the division!
