2012 Olympics not in running to bring benefit

London: More than 70 per cent of people believe the 2012 London Olympics will bring no real benefit to their area, a survey revealed today.
The BBC poll also found just one-in-five said the event would inspire them to take exercise.

Liverpool: Celebrity portraits made up of the horse hair of a former Grand National winner, Numbersixvalverde, will go on display today at Aintree.

Artist Anthony Barrow used the hair, mixed with paint and glue, to create the works.

Bejing and terrorism make the likelyhood of 2012 ever happening pretty remote,the IOC sold their soul many years ago but giving a repressive regime the games only makes sense if it encourages it to become more democratic,the opposite is happening in China and there is no way on this planet that London can guarantee the safety of the athletes given the constantly worstening terrorist situation and Londons position as a prime target,that a waste of £13 billion.
