Your headline (26 June) stated "Another pledge bites the dust" and you listed a number of SNP election pledges which have been broken or watered down. You did, however, overlook a clear pledge in the SNP's election manifesto to reinstate the Airborne Initiative or an equivalent scheme within 100 days of assuming office. Despite the rhetoric, no such scheme has been implemented and my understanding is that this pledge too has been shelved.
