For months, The Scotsman has published photographs of Gordon Brown with a face like thunder to suggest he is in the depths of despair. On 14 October you had one of him laughing beside a report where he talks about the global crisis. Is this responsible journalism or a subtle way of supporting David Cameron's claim he is being triumphant?
