A Murphy (Letters, 9 May) says of Adam Smith: "Read him carefully and you may find a precursor of Karl Marx."
Where does Smith advocate dictatorship of the proletariat and the placing of the means of production under full state control to allegedly benefit "the workers"?

That was Marx's great con, to popularize the idea that Socialism benefits 'the workers'.

Marxism is simply rationalized hatred. That's why it failed and produced genocide.
