IT HAPPENED again. Listening to a report about one of bin Laden's henchmen, I heard the newscaster say: "He'll now have to spend 32 hours a day sewing."
Ignoring the temporal discrepancy (if I'm honest, it took a moment for that penny to drop, but then I'm none too sharp at 6am), I thought: "Talk about your daft punishments!" My inner cinema screened a cosy close-up of a bearded, berobed chap hunkere...
