it should not involve Isreal and Isreal should not take any action at all.
However the European Union including the French should show solidarity with
Spain and keep the peacekeepers there as someone needs to keep them separate. Its just a pity that these people had to die in that place

Reading Public
Look at the range of Hezbollah Rockets.. Between 8 and 22km

They would have had to have been fired from positions right on the Lebanon/Israeli Border.

The Border is 20 miles across... It was occupied by up to 30,000 Israeli Troops, Observers on the Ground, Tanks, Artillery Units.. Patrolled by F16's Recon Aircraft, UAV Drones with High res cameras, Satelittes...

The Israelis have counter Barrage equip. When a launch is detected, Israel can fire a counter barriage before the rocket has hit the target.
Hezbollah know this..

Who really fired the rockets?

Perhaps the IDF were roaming around Israeli towns, setting off air raid sirens.. then blowing up cars and dustbins with C4.. claiming it was rockets.

The above (#5) is most likely why the Israelis assasinated the UN Observers at the start of the war.. So there would be no witnesses as to the number of rockets fired or where thet were fired from.
