AN Edinburgh businesswoman who once turned down a Bond girl film role is to join the new series of The Apprentice.
Lucinda Ledgerwood, 31, who lives in Lochend, will do battle for the chance to win a six-figure salary job working for tycoon Sir Alan Sugar.

The financial risk manager, who is studying aromatherapy at Napier University, says her biggest regret is passing up the chance to play the role of a Bond girl's body double.

Despite claiming to have never seen an episode of the hit BBC show, she said: "I always win, so it's a natural conclusion – I will win."

The new series starts on March 26 on BBC1.

I'm sure this career-confused risk-manager or aromatherapist or student or "bond girl" or apprentice is not *just* on the show to build up a celebrity profile is she ?

Eh... NOT MUCH !!!

Fast forward 2 years till we're sick of the sight of her, having landed some lame-brain TV celebrity spot on BBC Scotland or STV...

So FREAKING predictable these people...

Without doubt one of the most banal programmes on tv alongside every other 'reality' show. Bring back Dixon of Dock Green and Z Cars.

#1 - Spot on - my thoughts exactly - methinks she's forgotten around 20 birthdays by the looks of her!

#2 - The best of it (not mentioned here) is that she was a checkout girl at Tesco - so she's obviously a prime candidate for a six figure salary!!!

She's had the coverage here and mentions on the radio today - strikes me that she's just a fame-hungry idiot who shouldn't be getting the attention she is. She'd make a good new buddy for Heather Mills!
