HUMAN remains discovered in a tent pitched in a forest are those of a man who went missing three years ago, police said today.
The decomposed body of Nicholas Randall, 31, from Edinburgh were found in Auch Forest, near Bridge of Orchy in Argyll.

Forestry workers made the discovery by the popular walking route the West Highland Way on March 14.

Mr Randall went missing from his home in the capital on April 25 2005.

Lothian and Borders Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

A family statement said: "We would like to thank the missing persons unit of Lothian and Borders Police for all their assistance and kind support over the last three years."
