Non event.Hundreds of thousands are registering to vote. Overwhelmingly Democrat. Mostly young, never voted befores, some changing partys, many, newly forged citizens. Does this mean automatic victory for Obama? No. People actually do have to drag themselves to thier polling stations, and, suprisingly enough, that seems a burden too many can't handle. But, to the article-Duck, here comes the mud.

That Palin woman is a joke. At the time of the Chicago explosion in 1969, Obama was 8 years old.

#2 Cackling Insanity! Ayers is an un-repentant terrorist! He has not ever apologised or shown remorse for his actions. It is the adult dealings with Ayers they are on about.Hasn't met him for about 18months? Distancing himself until he is in the White House perhaps? Oh!and the 20+ years of being in a rabidly radical church, and being brought up a Christian, with a muslim father and then a muslim step-father?He distanced himself from the radical preacher as well! You can call Palin a joke. A mother of 5, who was a mayor of a small town and then Governor of Alaska and you have the gall to call her a joke! She is a darned sight smarter than you are mate, fact.A quick learner with her track record. You support A boma the Manchurian Candidate obviously. He sure as hell is not all he seems.More to come..out.

at least there were no casualties the article says in Ayers' bombings. Obama was in 2'nd grade when it happened. So their paths crossed in life. thats not a big deal.

The ties between these two go back way further than you think.
Obama and Ayers were at school in New York in 1982/3.
Obama graduated from Columbia in 1983, Ayers graduated from Bank Street College - 371 yards down the road from Columbia - in 1984.
Obama stayed working in New York until 1985, Ayers attended Columbia from 84-87 gaining two more degrees.
In 85 Obama left New York and moved to Ayers home town - Chicago - to work among Ayers' circle of friends. Ayers moved back to Chicago in 87.
Obama got into Harvard with the assistance of powerful connections of Ayers' father.
Obama met his wife while working a summer job in 1988 at the law firm, Sidley Austin, that employed Ayers' wife. That is where he met Michelle.
Ayers put in on the Woods Foundation Board.
Ayers put him on the Chicago Annenberg Challenge Board..
These two GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO 1982/3
OBAMA IS LYING ABOUT THE NATURE OF HIS ASSOCIATION!
OBAMA HAS TRIED TO CONCEAL THIS BY HIDING ALL INFORMATION ABOUT HIS TIME IN NEW YORK.
No transcript, no thesis, no list of friends or classmates, no address where he lived, no nothing.

#2 Druginhead.
Talking of cackling, or in your case, rabid insanity, isn't it strange that you can manage to continually bad-mouth your own country, and support a murderous gangster regime where you now live, and yet you have the audacity to criticise a man because he has had some very peripheral contacts with a former terrorist a long time ago.
I think your problem with Obama is the colour of his skin, combined with the fact that he has some Middle East blood in him. Like a lot of racists, you denounce anyone with any "taint" of the Middle East as terrorists; which shews just how narrow minded and bigoted you really are.
Why don't you just stick to toadying to the gangster government?

It is good to see that the Republican Party has managed to extract itself from the gutter politics of Lee Atwatter and Karl Rove, and is happy to fight on the issues of the day, rather than on scare stories and innuendo!
One can only marvel at the people who brought you Ollie North and Donald Rumsfeldt complaining about Obama consorting with "terrorists"....evidently, arms for Iran, Noriega, meetings and support for Saddam, funding Osama v the Russians etc etc were all honest mistakes!
I do hope Obama does not make the mistake of previous candidates and ignore this sort of negative campaigning. They destroyed the Dukakis campaign with a bundle of lies and innuendo and he foolishly thought that refusing to dignify some outrageous smears with comment would work. Nice guys tend to finish last when these characters do a number on you.
So far, we have had Obama the Muslim, Obama the friend of scary preachers and now, Obama the friend of terrorists. With a month or so to go, and McCain still trailing, I feel certain the dirty tricks will only intensify...I mean, you wouldn't want a Democrat in the Whitehouse with free access to the files on the last 8 years would you?

Since when was blowing up a statue as a gesture against your own government described as terrorism? I'm pretty sure the term was never used when Ayers was actively involved in violent political action. I also had the feeling that taking up arms against your government was a kind of cherished right in the States. I'm sure if a group of people in Iraq had blown up a statue of Saddam during the latter days of his rule, we'd be calling them heroes. Yet while Ayers was making his violent protest, the government he was protesting against was terrorizing civilians thousand of miles away by dropping bombs on them in large numbers.

Obama now will not allow his academic record to be reviewed.
“Senator Obama’s life story,One chapter of the tale remains a blank — his education at Columbia College, a place he rarely speaks about and where few people seem to remember him.
The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago. Sept 5th, 2008

But why not ? Has Obama something to hide when he should be proud of his achievement at Columbia College alas we may never know what he did achieve ?
