Big Brother contestant sorry for spit attack
EDINBURGH Big Brother evictee Dennis McHugh has reportedly apologised for the spitting attack on a fellow housemate that saw him removed from the house on Friday.
McHugh was thrown out after allegedly spitting in the face of Mohamed Mohamed during a group row.
The row erupted after Rex Newmark, 24, smudged part of a picture by part-time model Jennifer Clark, 22. Dennis began swearing at Mohamed as he defended Jennifer, and appeared to spit in his face.
"I want to say sorry to my family – but most of all I really, really want to apologise to Mohamed," Mr McHugh reportedly said upon his return to Edinburgh. I hope to be given the chance to do that face to face but I have not had any indication of whether I can or not."
The 23-year-old dance teacher was spoken to under caution by police following his eviction but no further action had been taken at this stage, police said.
