KILMARNOCK have signed midfielder Manuel Pascali on a three-year contract. The Italian was due to move to Rugby Park on loan from Parma, but Kilmarnock have now agreed an undisclosed fee for his permanent transfer.
The 26-year-old impressed on trial during pre-season and scored the winner in a victory over QPR.

Pascali, who signed the contract late on Wednesday night, says he is especially looking forward to locking horns with the Old Firm after watching them on television back in his homeland. "We are used to playing on a Sunday in Italy and so we watch the Scottish matches on occasions on a Saturday," he explained.

"I know all the Celtic and Rangers players because they also play in the Champions League and Celtic have an Italian player, Massimo Donati, and they have Shunsuke Nakamura who played for a long time in Italy. So playing against Celtic and Rangers will be a dream come true."

The Truth Hurts,

Just reading about the £300k that Celtic will receive from Derby, if they are promoted, from the Kenny Misser deal.. That makes it, if my sums are correct, around £5.5m that Celtic will have made from KM in just over a year!! £2.2m transfer fee to Derby, (Possibly further £300k), and of course the £2.5m extra Champions League money that KM (with some help of course than his less than adequate teammates) handed to Celtic due to his considerable lack of talent!!

God bless you Kenny, and may you never change!

Em, good luck to Pascali too....
