Richey ex tells of 'high hopes' for romance

KENNY RICHEY'S former wife has said she has "high hopes" of rekindling their relationship.
Wendy Amerud has travelled to Edinburgh from America to spend time with Kenny following his return home after 21 years on death row.

The couple married in 1984 but divorced a year later. Ms Amerud, 50, said: "I regret ever leaving my husband and have high hopes we might be reunited as a couple after my stay in Edinburgh.

"When I saw Kenny again for the first time I was really impressed by his positive attitude in the face of so much hardship.

"He just accepted his lot yet managed to be funny as well."

Ms Amerud, the mother of Kenny's 22-year-old son, Sean, is staying with Kenny, 43, at his mother's flat in Dalry.

don't know who's crazier---Kenny for allowing this woman to "visit" or the woman. Does she not realize that he can't come back here? Neither one seems like a great bargain.

anyone else noticed that neither one of them will commit to saying they are for sure going to remarry?
She wants to live here in USA if media reports are correct and he wants to remain in Scotland. So how is this going to work?

Wonder what the REAL motivation is for her sudden interest and devotion to a man she has ignored for 20 years?

have sympathy for Kenny...but not very immpressed by some of his bad habits. Seems like the guy has a death wish.
also, mate, your money aint going to go very far if you keep phoning America on your mobile.
