Raiders target Kenny Richey's mum

THE mum of former Death Row Scot Kenny Richey today said raiders had targeted her home thinking he had stashed money there.
Eileen Richey, 63, revealed the raiders had smashed in the front door of her Edinburgh flat but ran off after realising her son no longer lived there.

She said: "They tried to break in during the middle of the night – it was really scary.

"Kenny's room is directly opposite the main door so they must have realised it was empty.

"My partner was woken up by the noise but by the time he got up they had already made off.

"A neighbour says she heard two sets of footsteps running down the stairs. I've not been able to sleep properly since.

"My flat is on the top floor of a block of 16 so it's more than just a coincidence that they chose mine."

A police spokeswoman confirmed they were still investigating the break-in and nobody had been charged.

Mrs Richey has also pleaded with her son to make up with his fiancée, Wendy Amerud, and sort his life out.

She added: "I just want him to get on with his life like any mother would."

Kenny Richey is NOT a convicted child murderer. The murder charges and arson charges where dropped.

His poor mother needs peace and he needs to start behaving like a grown up now.

As for him making up with his ex wife wendy. If that woman has any sense she will cut her loses. She should run for the hills and count herself lucky she didnt move here to live a life of debauchery and God only knows what else. He might have tried to bring his teenage girlfriend into her home.

#4 Quite right. The poor man was convicted of nothing more than involuntary manslaughter of an infant, child endangerment and breaking and entering.

Wait a minute, breaking and entering? Maybe Ms Richey should be looking close to home for the culprit...

The EN should really hire Kenny Richey to write a daily diary about all the exciting things that happen to him each day.

He seems to generate more stories than JK Rowling, Ian Rankine and Edinburgh Council combined!

This was just a run of the mill burglary. If Eileen Richey wanted to be left alone, she wouldn't be invoking her son's name in order to get into the news. Eileen -- get over yourself.

The EEN appear to have a monopoly on excruciatingly un-newsworthy items related to Kenny Richey.Isn't it about time that this latter day Jackanory is told by the EEN to, "Golf,Tango,Foxtrot."???
Eileen Richey must be demented by her son's behaviour.
He has refused all help and has chosen to continue his destructive lifestyle and will become more outrageous unless he is sectioned under mental health regulations.

Nah, the EEN is not keeping up. They failed to report:

1. The girl was 16, not pregnant, and that he called her his "fkbuddy" and threatened to beat up her father.

2. Richey's threesome with the porn star. [According to his cellie, Richey was probably most interested in the guy.]

3. Richey blowing off his doctor's appt. and trying to blame it on ptsd.

He's a laugh a minute!
