Telling jokes and funny stories on stage is a proper job, really

‘AUNTIE Janey… Is telling jokes on stage actually a job?” my four-year-old great niece Abi asked me last week. “Yes, it really is a job,” I heard myself say, and there I was getting defensive with a toddler.
“Really? Like a real proper job?”

“Yes!” I shouted at the wee girl.

She shook her head as if I was telling a big lie, gave me a hug and walked off.

You know your ambitions are over and the game is up when a child feels sorry for your career....

#1. There is NO point! This is just 'filler'. A 'news'paper has to fill up with with adverts and crap like this, so they can 'justify' charging us X amount of cash.

Nonesense like this belongs in a weekly mag ... not a daily newspaper ... and certainly not in the newspaper that likes to call itself a "quality" newspaper!
