THE Iraq oil contract auction is due to be broadcast live on TV, shedding light on the secretive world of Middle East hydrocarbon deals.
"This is shaping up to be unlike anything I have ever been involved in," said one senior executive for a western oil company. "It is unique and will be some theatre."

All the bids for the contracts will be opened in front of the cameras, and they will be compared and contracts awarded there and then.

And finally.... the Iraqi end game is in sight... How many lives? How much radiation... ah... who cares, as long as those yankees can guzzle their macs and drive their hummers and Haliburton can continue to rake in the billions of dollars in "defense" deals. This is such a blatant rip off of the american populace I am surprised they are not out in the streets getting their heads kicked in... oh no, wait, that's for OTHER poorer people to do.

Oil companies are traditionally controlled by very greedy people who love to exploit others.
