BACK-to-back suicide bombings have killed at least 25 people outside the most important Shiite shrine in Baghdad, Iraqi police officials said today.
The blasts in the Kazimiyah neighbourhood come a day after nearly 80 people were killed in attacks in Iraq, making it the country's deadliest day in more than a year.
A police official said the bombers detonated explosive belts within minutes of each other near the tomb of Imam Mousa al-Kazim, an important Shiite saint.
The official said 60 people had been wounded.
