Police confirm identity of body

POLICE in Orkney have confirmed the identity of a body found on Sanday as that of Robert Rose – known locally as "Black Bob".
A man has appeared in court charged with Mr Rose's murder.

John Campbell, 59 – known as the Monkey Man of Orkney because he rehomed marmoset monkeys used in medical labs – appeared on petition in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on Tuesday. Campbell, of Sanday, is charged with murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
