A BOLT of lightning caused windows to shatter and an internal wall to collapse at a house in Inverness-shire.
Kinveachy Lodge in Boat of Garten, near Aviemore, is rented out to shooting parties. The blast struck the house at 5.15pm yesterday, causing shockwaves to reverberate around the property.

It is not known if the house had guests in it at the time, but no ambulances were called and it is not thought anyone was injured.
