Family's near-miss in car plunge

A FAMILY escaped serious injury after their car plunged 30ft down an embankment.
The man, woman and a child were taken to hospital with minor injuries after their car collided with another vehicle on the A82 Inverness to Glasgow road at Lochend yesterday. Northern Constabulary said the car came to rest about 6ft from the waters of Loch Ness.
