Rankin's life of crime began with inflicting Rebus on us!!

There's a lot better writers around than Rankin. Galaxy British Book Awards should be ashamed of themselves!!!

I feel the same way about the Punch & Judy show that Scaramouche feels about Ian Rankin.

One time when they were pushing their, " Premium Rate, phone and vote for your favourite book and you might win a major prize", thing, one of them said , .."now don't forget , you don't actually have to have READ the book you're voting for."

I was so taken aback I nearly fell off the wife.

Congratulations. I like the Rebus series. Details about the office politics are authentic and humorously presented. The human side balances the more spectacular (gory, thrilling) events.

Today's Vote

Is Ian Rankin right to praise author Katie Price (Jordan) for boosting literacy?
Yes - she must be raising reading levels if people are buying her books
No - I've seen better literature on the back of a bus ticket
Errr... I only bought mine to look at the pictures
