JIMI Hendrix's 1966 Red Fender Mustang guitar sold for £200,000 and the Gibson Les Paul guitar of U2's The Edge fetched £120,000 at an auction in New York's Hard Rock Café to help musicians who lost everything in Hurricane Katrina.
The sale raised nearly £1.25 million.
