THE owners of a nursing home in Chalmette, Louisiana, where 35 people died in the flooding that followed Hurricane Katrina, pleaded not guilty yesterday to charges of negligent homicide and cruelty to the infirm.
Salvador Mangano and his wife, Mabel, were charged last month.
