Drug hope in fight against superbug

SCIENTISTS are working on a drug they believe could be a breakthrough in curing MRSA.
They are carrying out trials of a compound they claim kills the bacteria, with a view to developing a product for use in hospitals within three years.

Shouldn't we use the money to clean the hospitals properly, rather than line the pockets of a drug company?

I have no doubt that this will work. For 6 months. Then the bug will mutate again and be 5 times more deadly than it is at present and 10 times more expensive to prevent and cure.
