More repair work at Holyrood

THE shine is starting to wear off the Scottish Parliament, it was confirmed yesterday. The coating on oak poles on a canopy over the public entrance is now nearing the end of its life. Holyrood staff are seeking treatments with longer life spans.
The building was formally opened by the Queen in October 2004, three years late.
