Firms quizzed on Hogmanay

BUSINESS and tourism companies across the Capital are to be quizzed to find out how the city's Christmas and Hogmanay festivals benefited them.
Organisers behind Edinburgh's winter festivals have sent out surveys to local businesses and holiday companies, asking them to explain what effect the celebrations had on their sales.

The move is part of a consultation process aimed at improving the annual festivities.

Feedback is expected to be published within coming months.
