We get a completely different view of the city, we particularly like the Innocent Railway

4 The "Ten Peaks" in the Pentlands

Park by the Flotterstone Inn, climb up Turnhouse hill, Carnethy hill, Scald Law, East Kip and West Kip, then turn round and come back again. Bit tiring but worth it

5 Portobello beach

A stroll with a frisbee, football or kite.
