Kathleen Green, 67, retired hospital worker, Newtongrange, chooses her top five areas to shop in Edinburgh.
1 St James Centre I love all the different shops and the fact that you can always get exactly what you want in one of them.

2 Cameron Toll You can get everything in there - from food to clothes.

3 Morningside Road, Morningside There's quite a lot of charity shops and I quite like looking at the older things in them.

4 Princes Street I love everything about it including walking along and looking at the castle.

5 Junction Street, Leith There is such a big variety of shops on this street.
