High 5: Elizabeth Maginnis

Forth councillor Elizabeth Maginnis lists her five favourite places to visit in and around the city.
1 Shapes Furniture Shop and Restaurant, Sighthill. I love sofas and have bought at least eight in the last ten years. Shapes have the best selection and once done browsing, I retire to the restaurant to enjoy lunch.
2 Tynecastle Stadium. I have been a Hearts supporter since I left my mother's womb and love being at Tynecastle, especially when Hearts are winning.
3 Baxter's Restaurant, Ocean Terminal. The views from this restaurant across the Forth are to die for, as is their afternoon tea.
4 Cllr Eric Milligan's office in the City Chambers. I've had such a laugh with so many great people there.
5 The garden at number 2 Grierson Avenue. An oasis in the city. We held my parent's golden wedding anniversary party there. My dad died five months later. Every time I sit in my garden I remember him.
