Cara Sutherland, 25, a PR consultant, of Leith Links, lists her favourite areas in the Capital for finding vintage and second-hand shops.
Portobello. There are loads of brilliant little charity shops dotted along the High Street. Now that I work nearby I often visit them at lunch and buy books.

Leith Walk. The charity furniture stores like Barnardo's and the Action Group are fantastic. I have picked up some amazing antique-looking pieces here.

Morningside. My favourite area while I was at university. I used to trawl the shops on Morningside Road at lunchtime.

Royal Mile. The PDSA shop always has cool jewellery and belts.

Stockbridge. I don't visit often enough nowadays, but there are a few beauties here including the Oxfam Music Shop.
