David McInnes, 28, an IT manager from Dalry, picks his top five Edinburgh nightclubs.
1 Citrus Club It might be a bit grubby but it's about as far from the George Street pretension as you can get.

2 Whistle Binkies It can get a bit sweaty but it's got the odd good band on.

3 Liquid Room It's a bit of cheat this because it's closed for repairs, but it was always good and will be again, no doubt.

4 Cabaret Voltaire If you catch it on the right night it plays some really unique music.

5 Why Not? It's the best of the George Street clubs. Not as pretentious as Opal Lounge with some good tunes.
