UN warns bird flu fight failing in Indonesia

Indonesia: Efforts to contain bird flu are failing, increasing the possibility that the virus may mutate into a deadlier form, the leading UN veterinary health body has warned.
The H5N1 bird flu virus is entrenched in 31 of the country's 33 provinces and will cause more human deaths, they said.

Australia: The government plans to allow greenhouse gas emissions to be stored in the ocean floor around the island continent, with exploration for suitable sites starting this year.
