A CONFERENCE is set to be held in Edinburgh to review services provided by the Mental Health Act – five years after the law was enacted.
The one-day event is expected to be held at Dynamic Earth on September 2.

The Act was hailed as a landmark in modern mental health legislation when it was passed in 2003. The conference will look at how effectively community-based treatment orders have been implemented, examine changes in hospital and community-based mental health services, and consider challenges facing services for user groups.
