EDINBURGH residents are being urged to sign up to a charity bike ride along the canals from Glasgow to Edinburgh.
The Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) Lowlands Canal Cycle Challenge is set to take place on Sunday, June 1.

Cyclists can either cycle the full 50-mile route or join at lunchtime at the Falkirk Wheel and cycle the final 25-mile section.

In the past two years more than 350 cyclists have taken part in the event and have raised over £31,000 for CHSS.

Call the fundraising hotline on 0845-450 2000 or e-mail for more details.
