WOMEN who wear a large bra size are much more likely to develop diabetes than those with an A cup, according to a study.
Experts believe noting a woman's breast size at 20 may help predict whether she will have diabetes in middle age.

Women with a C or D cup were more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes than those with an A cup.

Type 2 is often linked to obesity and lack of exercise, but even after adjusting for this, researchers found the risk high.

They asked more than 90,000 women, aged on average 38, about their bra sizes when they were aged 20.

They then looked to see how many of the women went on to develop diabetes.

Women who wore B cups at the age of 20 were 37 per cent more likely to have diabetes than those wearing A cups.

For those who wore a C cup at 20, the risk was up by 80 per cent, dropping to 64 per cent for those wearing a D cup.

The research was published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

It's funny how this research, at first, would imply that women should have smaller breasts in order to prevent diabetes. But after a moment of evaluation -- and common application -- it would seem that if 70% of women with larger breasts go on to develop Type 2 diabetes...what if diabetes isn't a disease at all, but an adaptive mechanism for survival?

Yes, it's contrary and inherently controversial. I have to ask the questions science is not PAID to support this side of research. No drug leaves well enough alone. It's forcing sugar into cells that cannot handle it that causes complications. It's injecting insulin into a body that does not want the glucose to enter the cell that causes strokes and heart attacks (in the veins and arteries).

Okay -- so now I'm the target. Is diabetes so bad? Guys like women with bigger chests (as long as the rest of the package is tight - right?) Maybe I'm barking up the wrong tree. Could it ....just possibly be.....because so many young women are fat, mainly as a result of overeating and stuffing themselves with junk food laden with fat, sugar and salt?

Hi folks...Cannot believe I am reading this guff...surely the condition of the woman's health and body fat (not breast fat) would be a more reasonable indication?

They asked women their bra sizes when they were 20....!

"Oh here doctor check the size o' them....whit d'ye reckon diabetes say.. whin she hits 50 eh?"

"Fraid yer right nurse..nothin ye kin dae hen..away ye go up the road and start a wee co-op scheme fir yer funeral..save yersell a bit o' worry"

A woman with large breasts goes to the doctor and the doctor says " I cant help noticing you've got very large breasts, I'm doing some research on this subject and wondered if you would mind if I did some tests on you".
The woman says "no", so the doctor says "Can I weigh them?" She says "Yes".
So he grabs them in both hands and goes "weaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh"!

People who ..... are X times more likely to ..... than those who .....

Where have I heard this before? It's totally meaningless without quoting the baseline probability, which somehow they never seem to do.

It is FACT that those with infeasibly large testicles sit on them more than those without.

#8 Doreen,
That's what I was thinking. You just said it with more, uh, eh,...'gusto'! ;)

#7 Charles,
no kissing and telling, what about your DYW ;)

GP,

8# 14# the more serious side to this is that when she goes up the co-op they recognise from the form that she has big t**s and the premium is increased accordingly.

right, and I wonder if they have a sliding scale to charge accordingly for the average of the weight, volume, and circumference?

Peajay,

Hi Cousin Lanna,
Have you forgiven the picture? :DD
Do you think the same scale could be used on male parts to check for mental capacity? :D

#18 Peajay,
my gosh, I about died when I saw that photo!! haha, yes, you're forgiven! :)

measuring male parts for the mean mental capacity, yep, works for me! ;)

14 Lanna,
"no kissing and telling, what about your DYW ;)"

I would never, 'kiss and tell'

DYW is proud of hers, my limited 'playtime' is reserved for, 'you-know-what' and this suits me fine.
I call it Appreciation, and not degradation!

Biggest problem is the Summer! all em gals in,
'low-cut-tops'
I cant help,..'zooming-in'.. and say to my DYW,
"GOSH She has a nice Pair"
At which point I'm told,
"Do You Want A Slap"!! :-((

She is hinting though, if she gets pregnant,
"There will be NO-more of That"!!
So thats me, 'out-the-window'.. :-(((

...."That", Don't mean the..'Whole-Act'! :-D

(use your imagination)

Lanna,

#19 Charles,
word of warning, then, do Not take your DYW to Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras)...you'd be black and blue at the end of. Although I can imagine this would be fertile ground for the experts to walk round asking to take measurements and evaluate medical histories ;)
#20 I have quite a vivid imagination, so I think I will defer here...

OK Lanna, no-doubt we will speak again, mind you if I become a 'House-Daddy', hopefully soon, I recon I will have to sneak the quiet tomes to use this site!

Gosh we must of been Good Girls and Boys today!
