Hundred stand still to highlight HIV

MORE than 100 Red Cross campaigners stood still in unison in Glasgow yesterday to raise awareness of HIV.
The "flashmob" event, to mark World Aids Day today, brought shoppers on Buchanan Street to a halt as the campaigners stood statue-like in the act of handing condoms and red ribbons to each other. About 77,400 people in the UK are living with HIV.
