A NEW head nurse has been appointed to lead 450 healthcare workers in West Lothian.
NHS Lothian has announced that Gill Cottrell will take on the role of chief nurse for the West Lothian Community Health and Care Partnership.

She will head up a team of nurses working in the community and with mental health.

She said: "One of the great things about West Lothian is its strong tradition of partnership working, so I will be co-operating with the police and others to provide the joined-up services people need."
