Brewery's spent grain feeds cows

GLASGOW'S only city-centre brewery, the West Brewery – based in the Templeton carpet factory building at Glasgow Green – is feeding a herd of cattle with its spent grain.
The company is giving cereal used in its beer-making process to Foreside Farm, near Beith, Ayrshire.
