POLICE searching for a mother-of-three missing since she left the pub where she works on Thursday last night said they had discovered her body.
Elizabeth Anne Drummond, 46, from Barrhead, Glasgow, was last seen at about 6:45pm on Thursday walking near to a reservoir at Barrhead, near Glasgow.
Ms Drummond, known as Anne, left the Flying Horse in the town's Main Street after having drinks with family at about 6pm.
Strathclyde Police said Mrs Drummond was seen walking along Aurs Road about 45 minutes later.
She was spotted near to the Balgray Reservoir, known locally as the Barrhead Dams.
In a statement released last night, Strathclyde Police said: "At around 3:35pm, the body of Mrs Drummond was found in a wooded area between Barrhead and Newton Mearns.
"Relatives are aware. A post-mortem examination will be held in due course, however, there appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
